Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off

About the Role

We are seeking qualified and motivated Able Seamen (AB) to join our team operating a mixed fleet of RoPax and RoRo ferries based in UK & Ireland. The successful candidates will an essential role in the safe and efficient deck operations of our vessels, supporting both navigation and cargo handling duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Stand navigational watches and perform lookout duties as directed by the Officer of the Watch.
• Ensure the vessel’s safety equipment and deck gear are properly maintained and ready for use.
• Participate actively in drills, safety checks, and emergency response duties.
• Support the loading and unloading of vehicles and passengers.

Requirements

• STCW II/5 (STCW II/4 will be considered with sufficient sea time)
• Basic Safety STCW
• STCW Security Awareness
• Valid ENG1 Medical
• Experience on RoPax and/or RoRo ferries is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A commitment to safety and operational excellence
